Time is a funny thing. You can't lock it up for a rainy day. You
can't slow it down nor sped it up. It ticks away day and night without
fail. Some hope the sands will run out someday, but for most of us the
world is pictured as one continuous reel of film, in it we are mostly
unaware that there are breaks in the days and cannot even hear the tocks
between the ticks. But there are some moments that give us pause. Forced
to reflect we taken out of the frame. I know life starts to feel less
continuous with running sand at the bottom of your feet. Looking back
now on half a year almost spent I wonder in what dream was I in? |
